Teams

“For where two or three have gathered together in my name, I am there in their midst (Matthew 18:20 NASB).”

Definition: A number of persons forming one of the sides in a game or contest; a number of persons associated in some joint action; two or more horses, oxen, or other animals harnessed together to draw a vehicle, plow, or the like (Dictionary.com).

Teams have purpose: they have a goal, a plan and usually a time boundary for accomplishment. Horses are reigned to travel until the carriage reaches its destination, oxen are yoked for strength until plowing is done, sport teams play to win until the game is over and two join in marriage to be fruitful and multiply until death parts them. There is synergistic power when we join together to accomplish things that are bigger than just one of us.

Prayers: Whenever our baby joins a team we pray for the purposes and plans to be upright and wise.

When heading toward the goal we pray for stamina and loyalty to prevail and a never quit spirit to guide every decision made.

We trust Your Holy Spirit to instigate any necessary shifting or course correction along the way and we position ourselves to facilitate and manage all you deem important. Thank You for Your help and blessings.
