Unity

Unity

“With all humility and gentleness, with patience, showing tolerance for one another in love, being diligent to preserve the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all who is over all and through all and in all (Ephesians 4:2-6 NASB).”

Definition:  The state of being one; oneness; a whole or totality as combining all its parts into one. Oneness of mind, feeling, etc., as among a number of persons; concord, harmony, or agreement (Dictionary.com).

When we live by the Spirit our eyes are opened to see how things connect. We see how God connects three different entities in one, we see how we connect to the earth to cultivate and keep it and we see how we connect in marriage to be fruitful and multiply. “If we live by the Spirit, let us also walk by the Spirit" (Galatians 5:25), here we become active and realize our mission will take more than ourselves to be accomplished. “There is one body and one Spirit”. When we walk in the Spirit we walk together, so let’s walk with humility, gentleness, patience, tolerance, diligence, peace, and love. We should consider others higher than ourselves and love first, because God first loved us (1 John 4:19). When we model the connection and priority of God, we will do more than come together and connect for a purpose; we will become one and greatly represent God’s glory and love on the earth.

Prayers: We pray our child discovers unity with You and with Your children.

We pray any assignment designed to lead our child into isolation or disconnection will be thwarted completely.

Please help us to model a spirit of unity and consistently consider others higher than ourselves.
Thank You Lord for Your help and blessings
